2005 CODiE Award Finalist!
At the time of this printing, Count Me In® was named as a Finalist in the 20th Annual CODiE Awards of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), recognizing Timecard Monitor™ among 2005's Best Software Products. Choice of overall winner is still pending.
Timecard Monitor is the flagship product of family-owned Count Me In. The software is one of six finalists competing for SIIA's title of Best Business Software Product or Service, holding its own among big-name contenders like Microsoft®, AT&T®, Amazon.com®, Intuit®, IBM®, and Sun Microsystems®, in this and other categories. In all, more than 1,200 nominated companies vied for a coveted finalist spot in the 62 award categories.
Winners will be announced at a black-tie gala held on May 25, 2005 at Universal Studio's Globe Theater. You may review more about these awards at www.siia.net/codies/2005.
2004 Priority Magazine BEST Small Business Technology Award Winner
In 2004, Count Me In was honored as a Small Business Technology Award Winner.
Judith Katz accepted the award as it honored this innovative business that has developed a proprietary fingerprint recognition technology unmatched in the industry.
She and her late husband, Norman, who was a software developer, began the company with their concern for child safety. The company has grown considerably and foresees a steady increase in revenue and technological advances.
BiometriTech 2003 Best of Show!
The Lightning ID™ engine inside of our Timecard Monitor has brought advanced biometrics to small businesses in a robust and easy-to-use computerized timeclock application. In 2003, Lightning ID was recognized by BiometriTech™ with a distinguished Best Of Show award.
Timecard Monitor uses fingerprint recognition to identify employees as they "Punch" in and out of work. The automation of time and attendance saves payroll processing time and eliminates manual errors. Fingerprint recognition (rather than employee IDs, PINs, or swipe cards) significantly reduces the potential for employees to punch-in their colleagues (known as "Buddy Punching"), one of the largest sources of lost profits for businesses.
BiometriTech 2002 Product of the Year!
Timecard Monitor™ was recognized in 2002 as BiometriTech's Product of the Year. This proprietary technology separates the biometric process of identifying employees from the process of verifying their identity. The one-to-many identification algorithm compares thousands of fingerprint templates rapidly and makes the overall employee validation process more secure, more accurate, and much faster. In 2002, improvements were made enabling easier and more complete exchange of data between Timecard Monitor and Intuit's QuickBooks®, and many other accounting software products.
