Desktop Fingerprint Sensor

The desktop fingerprint sensor is one of the most popular input devices that we sell.  The sensor is about the size of a regular window’s mouse and has a camera inside that scans in finger feature graphics for identification.  It connects to the computer through a USB port with a five foot cable.

Mountable Wall Unit

Sleek and durable, the impact resistant nylon mountable wall unit is perfect for use with one of our stand-alone editions.  The encased sensor has a camera inside that scans in finger feature graphics for identification.  It has a 4 line LCD display.  The MWU connects to the computer through a USB port with a nine foot cable. It comes with an easy to affix, tamper resistant mounting bracket and a tamper resistant cord cover.

bioTimeCenter

The bioTimeCenter has a 4 line LCD panel that can advise users that they have successfully punched and it can give users directions about using the 16 button keypad to enter jobs or projects. The durable wall mountable unit also contains a sensor with a camera inside that scans in finger feature graphics for identification.  It can be used as a remote clock display with all editions of Timecard Monitor.  The bioTimeCenter can be coupled with our Labor Time Management Module and used with our Pro and Premiere Editions.

Hand Reader

Every person’s hand has a unique geometry based on size and shape. This is stored in a template in the reader’s memory.  When an individual enters an ID number and places a hand on the biometric hand reader, the person’s identity is verified and s/he is punched in/out.

RFID

Radio Frequency Identification Device – A microchip is embedded in an accessory such as a card, badge or key fob, which transmits unique information to a reader.  The results - punch in/out for Timecard Monitor or open/close for Door Monitor is the same as using a sensor.

Swipe Cards

The magnetic stripe or bar code contains coded information.  Each code corresponds to a person and serves to identify the person.  When these cards are swiped through a scanning device, the codes are read, the employee is identified and the time is recorded for the punch in/out or a relay is triggered to open/close a door.
